i had an amazing stay at the kings head! the food was exceptional and the breakfast was spectacular. the room was comfortable and clean. the waitress was fantastic, providing great service both nights. a special thanks to the manager for quickly helping with my candle incident!

Amazing food and comfy vibes!

Had a fab night! The food was out of this world, especially breakfast. The room was super comfy and clean. The waitstaff were absolutely legendary, and shoutout to the manager for saving my napkin from getting singed! Only thing, the noise from the bar area was a bit much at times.

This place was an excellent fit for a quick city break in Acle with value for money. My dinner was superb, which really stood out. If you need anything, just ask the staff—they're helpful.

The double room with a balcony was quite nice, offering a large and comfy bed. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying, though I felt the vegetarian options were a bit limited. Despite some issues with the shower's temperature and a need for more furniture on the balcony, the overall friendly service made our stay enjoyable. A wonderful spot to explore local attractions like the Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden just a short walk away.

I absolutely loved the huge, tasty breakfast that set me up for the day and the lovely garden area was a charming spot to unwind. It felt very dog friendly too! I would definitely return.

The room lacked windows, felt stuffy, and had a shortage of mirrors!!! More hangers would improve storage. Indifferent staff responses to maintenance issues left much to be desired.

I had a lovely stay in a cozy Double Room with a balcony, where I enjoyed sipping coffee while taking in the morning sun. The sun terrace and the peaceful garden provided perfect spots to unwind after a day of exploration. Just a heads-up, there was some noise from traffic, but it didn't really ruin my time here. 😊

I loved lounging on the huge, comfortable bed in the Deluxe King Room with its lovely balcony—pure bliss! The shower pressure was fantastic, making it a refreshing start to each day, and the thoughtful little toiletries added a special touch. Plus, the breakfast spread was fresh and delicious, with great coffee to wake up my taste buds!

So I stayed in a Single Room for a night and the bed was huge and comfortable until I felt like a king. The bathroom had a lovely shower with hot water that didn't quit and they even left little toiletries, a nice touch that you don't always get.

It wasn't overly pricey, but let's just say it wasn't a bargain either.

I thoroughly enjoyed the charming decor and spacious dining area, which were easily accessible. The friendly staff were attentive and ensured I felt comfortable throughout my stay, making it a perfect getaway for seniors like myself.

A few more handrails would enhance safety.

The tea and coffee options were unexciting, with powdered milk being a low point. The loose wall light in the room felt unsafe, and the kettle was showing its age despite working. Those wanting a hot cooked breakfast might be disappointed, as mine came out lukewarm. A bit of a lack of warmth in the space also made for a chillier atmosphere than I’d prefer.
